Chao Phraya Express Boats
The Chao Phraya Express Boats run daily from Wat Ratsingkhon (a riverside temple in the Yannawa area) to Nonthaburi from 6.00 - 18.40 hrs, the fares range from 4 to 10 Baht. During rush hours (6.00 - 9.00 hrs and 15.30 - 19.30 hrs), the express boats with red / orange striped flags and yellow flag run along the same route and stop only at main piers. The fare is 10 baht throughout the route.

One Day River Pass gives you unlimited trips from Sathorn Pier (Central Pier) along the river to Phra Arthit Pier N13 The service is available daily, with departures every 30 minutes from Sathorn Pier (Central Pier) For 75 Baht.

Long Tail Taxis
Charter your own long tail boat. This can be done either at Sathorn (Central Pier) Tha Chang N9, Si Phraya N3 or Nonthaburi Pier. Long tail boats carry from 4 -20 people depending upon boat size. Private boat charter costs from around Baht 300 - 400 /hr. Moreover, the public long tail taxi which leave from Maharaj Pier (for trip to Klong Bangkok Noi), Chang Pier N9 (for trip to Klong Bangkok Yai), Tien Pier N8 (for trip to Klong Mon or Bangkok Yai), Rajinee Pier N7 (for trip to Klong Bang Yai), and Saphan Phut Pier for trips up various canals. As the scenery is quite similar along the various khlongs it does not matter which pier you depart from. Fares are between 10 Baht for one way or 20 Baht for a round trip, with frequent boat departures.
Hotel Shuttle
Many hotels such as The Peninsula, The Oriental and Marriott Resort & Spa provide free shuttle boat services from Saphan Taksin station S6 to the Hotel. Services run daily from 7.00 a.m. - 9.00 p.m.
Cross River
Boat service from Sathorn Pier crossing to Thonburi. Daily service from 5.30 a.m -11.00 p.m.
